Beginning Again…
Fairview Valley Baptist Church held the first worship service at 4273 Knobley Road Keyser, WV on September 17, 2023. We’re the combination of Carpendale Southern Baptist Church formed in 2001 and Knobley Road Baptist Church formed in 1996. We look forward to meeting our neighbors and learning together to fall in love with Jesus and inspire one another to follow Him. Come join us Sunday’s at 10 am for praise and worship or Wednesday’s at 6 pm for Bible Study.

Worship
We gather weekly on Sunday at 10 am to Worship our risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We welcome all those seeking a meaningful relationship with God to join us to sing praise to our Lord and study His Word.
Fellowship
Throughout the year we gather to spend time with like minded believers who long to develop relationships and connect to carry out the work of sharing our faith in Jesus.
Discipleship
We meet weekly on Wednesday evenings at 6 pm for small group Bible Studies. We work to grow our relationships and develop spiritual disciplines of prayer, Bible study and service to the Body of Christ.
About Us
We’re a recent combination of two Southern Baptist churches meeting in Mineral Country for more than 20 years. We’ve relocated to the former Knobley Road Baptist Church to better serve the needs of our congregation and carry on the work of the church in the Short Gap area started by Our Father’s House nearly 60 years ago. Like all Southern Baptist churches we are independently managed and our core beliefs are best described by the Baptist Faith and Message lived out in community. Come join us and discover the joy of a life surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
